Puno in short

Puno is located in the Andean highland and beside the Titicaca lake to 3827 m.s.n.m. Earth of the legendary Aimara town, and the Tiahuanaco Culture. It is the folkloric capital of Perú. It offers excellent alternatives for the ecological and archaeological historical tourism.

Puno is surrounded for 41 floating islands and the Titicaca lake which join Perú and Bolivia. The Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world and has a big variety of fauna and flora.
